James Crichlow is a photographer based in Jacksonville Beach, Fl. He received his B.A. in History
from The University of Texas at Arlington. He has won numerous awards for his efforts in photojournalism and portrait photography, yet looks toward the American Frontier for his personal works.
He holds Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, and Jackson Pollock as artistic influences and inspiration.
His work is currently on display through RockawayPhoto.com. The name serves as reminder and homage to his childhood neighborhood of Canarsie, in Brooklyn, NY.
